Maxim Ivanchuk, a butcher dressed in a white coat, left Victoria Bonya’s mother with deformities such as necrosis and scars; he now issues a counterclaim and continues his work in Dubai
A plastic surgeon caused harm to the mother of TV personality Victoria Bonya.
Victoria Bonya recently appeared before her fans with a refreshed appearance. Last year, she traveled to the United States to undergo blepharoplasty, after which the TV star’s eyes turned into trendy “foxy” ones. Many fans didn’t recognize the celebrity for a while, and Victoria even faced constant hate. But once the swelling went down and everything healed, online users admitted that her new face turned out quite cute.
The 68-year-old mother of Victoria Bonya, Galina Ivanovna, gave in to her daughter’s persuasion and decided to follow her example. However, in her case, something went terribly wrong. The celebrity’s mother underwent chin liposuction, a facelift, and blepharoplasty. As a result, her appearance did not improve — if anything, it became worse. She was left with horrific scars, developed tissue necrosis, and now has difficulty moving her neck.
Experts who examined the consequences of what seemed to be a routine plastic surgery concluded that skin grafting would be necessary — possibly more than one procedure. The surgeon who performed the operations, surnamed Ivanchuk, blamed the patient’s age and a hormonal imbalance in her body. He offered to fix everything for free. But the woman disfigured by the surgeon decided to take a desperate step. She no longer intends to trust her face to this doctor and has filed a lawsuit against him. The amount of damages claimed is 195 million rubles. It is also unclear whether the doctor even had a valid license.
Maxim Ivanchuk works in the UAE, where he performed the plastic surgery. It has become known that the surgeon’s operations cost from 20 to 250 thousand euros. If it turns out that the specialist actually does not have a license, he faces criminal charges as well as lifelong deprivation of the right to practice medicine.
